Tachometers

I was just wondering if anyone is using a tach on their Stryker. If so, what brand/model? Also, about how many RPMs do you run when cruising? I'm pretty new to riding and don't always feel like I'm in the right gear. Thought a tach might help me find the right spot and keep it there.
