I was lookign for a tail or tank bag, but ended up getting SEDICI saddlebags from Cycle Gear. It only cost $100 and then got the military discount. I love them :thumb: I can put them on and take them off in about a minute. I hook them on with 2 bungee cords, but accadently found out that they don't flap around even if the cords aren't used. They hold a lot. If you are looking for something just to use when needed, these are great. I don't have saddlebag supports eaither.

Can you post a pic of them on the bike?

Depending on how large a bag you want back there, I use a small one (see photos below). This was my own creation, after looking through the shops I bought a tank bag and cut the side straps & magnets off. I’m not a saddle-bag guy so this works well for me, the bag is the same width as my seat. As you can see it also provides some back-rest support. 3rd photo shows how I ran a wide velcro strap under the seat to pull it down. When I want to remove the bag I simply undo the velcro and it slides off. Works great for me. One tip; if you wear a backpack then you wouldn’t want to use this bag at the same time because the backpack won’t be able to drop down to the propper resting place. I use both, just not at the same time.

I went ahead and bought the Ogio. Looks fine on the bike, better than expected. Installs easy. The clips make it easy to unhook and take the bag with you if you want. Holds a bunch for a day trip. Rain gear, water bottles, phone, wallet, extra shirt, and could have held more without expanding it. Used the rain flap already :( it works great! The only down side to it would be the little keeper on the bungee for the rain cover. I tucked it between the square bottom protector and the bag so the wind wouldnt let it hit my paint. Overall I'm very happy with it. Seems to be good quality. Which I expected from Ogio.

Looks good. Can I ask you for 1 more pic from behind the back of the bike so I can see the width of the bag in comparison to the seat. Thanks.
Also, how did you insert this full-size image into your posting? Every time I do it through Manage your Attachments it comes out as a thumbnail image that you have to click on to expand. Can’t figure that out since they changed this forum…

I'll let her know to take a few more pics tonight. The side pockets hang over the pillion pad and are about even with the rear fender.

We used imgur.com to post the photo. Once you upload a photo to imgur, it will give you a link option with the IMG tags needed here. I've never had that much luck with the forum attachments.

****UPDATE****
It seems the nylon straps are rubbing the finish off the back trim pieces. I caught it before it became really ugly. You have to know what you're looking for to see it. Thank goodness. So I went to my local Hobby Lobby and bought a sheet of craft foam with a sticky back. Cut it to fit to the straps. I'll let you know how it works out.

These are the removable bags I use. Sorry the pictures aren't great. I have a very small garage.

I think I like the look of these. Anyway you could post a pic or two more? From the side and a front/side angle looking towards the back.

Most of the time I would leave them off, but I need something for those longer/overnight trips.

Thanks in advance!!:thumb:
