Hello guys, I wanted to show more rubber in the back, but didn't want to mess with the stock taglight setup just yet. Here's what I did.

I took the stock plate mount off and slid it up in the slot right under the taglight, so that it was touching (it fits perfectly). Drilled two holes using the plate mount as a guide and bolted up in that position. Remount tag on bracket and cut the exposed 2' of beaver tail from the bottom. I have some pics but I cant figure out how tow make them smaller.

thnks for the inspiration Monte & smokin. I did mine today....not that hard. Used a(a few actually) dremel cutoff disk for the plastic cutting. Worked pretty well.

Question: it seems I now have no direct light on the license plate....is that illegal

Not sure about legal, I was more concerned with ensuring as much light in the back as possible.....

I added LED Spiked nuts for plate lighting

May add an LED strip for the top, with the nuts on the bottom.....

It would be illegal in Florida not to have a direct white light on the plate.

In Raider-land, this mod is much easier done if the rear fender is removed - does the same hold true with the Stryker?
