I just got back from the ride on Monday. Im happy to report that I kept the bike on two wheels and that I was well received in a group of Harley riders. The bike handles really well in the rain. Went over 300 miles in it on the way home.
If you google it, it will pop up. Tennessee/ North Carolina, it's over 318 curves in 11 miles.VaStryker said:What and where is this Tail of the Dragon?

Funny you should say that. There were a lot of parts in that tree. One of the guys in our group went down, we'll be sending his mirror to the tree.godeepwvu said:Pretty diverse crowd in that one picture and looks like more than a few have left pieces behind.
My Dad (77 years young) loves to ride there. He ditched his HD years ago for a Kawi Mean Streak.snowman68 said:If you google it, it will pop up. Tennessee/ North Carolina, it's over 318 curves in 11 miles.VaStryker said:What and where is this Tail of the Dragon?
Next years Raider Rally will be in Maggie Valley again next year...we did have two Strykers show up so if you're in the area July 31 - Aug 4 2013 you're more than welcome to join us...we had several groups ride the Dragon the largest was 21 bikes....had a blast then over to the Cherohala...we had to do the Moohshiner 28 to get to the Dragon which is always a lot of fun.Mithros said:It was roughly a 10 hr ride down for our group. Broke it up in to two days on the way down and came home in one day. I gotta find a seat other than the stock one! That skyway looks awesome. Ill put that on my plan for next time.
