The boss told me to get a back rest for her today. I asked her if she wants a tall or short back rest. She asked me which would be better, told her **** if I know I dont ride back there. So now I need some help from your significant others that ride passenger. Do they prefer the short or tall back rest? Now to figure that out and whether to get the black or chrome one. lol

I've got the short mostly because I wanted a lower proflie. The wife loves it, says it's much more comfortable and she doesn't have to be scared when I gas it. Only concern I have is that I am thinking of getting some sort of touring seat eventually, most of which seem to be thicker and was thinking that the backrest will be really low if the seat if much thicker than stock.

Since I use to ride as a passenger, I will tell you it was more comfortable with a tall backrest.
I'm thinking thats what I'll get but I'm going to be looking through all the pics today to see exactly whats going to work best for the look that I am going for. All my wife cares about is not having that feeling of falling off the back. lol

My last bike had a backrest when I bought it, it was short and the misses said it made her feel like her back was being folded up whenever we pulled away from a stop sign or light or any time I had to get on it, got a taller one and she loved it, since she has her back surgery she can only take short rides so we didn't put one on the Stryker as she may only take a 20 minute ride once every so many months

We like doing charity rides/poker runs on weeks and then the occasional bar hopping down in Nashville, but she doesnt want to go on any long rides till I get one. Its gonna help me once i get one to that way she can sit back and relax instead of having death grip on me and pushing me forward. lol

I have the short backrest and the mustang touring seat and my girlfriend loves it. She's 5'4 and feels very secure on it. I like the short one better because it looks better on the bike...

I like when my wife hangs on tight, keeps us close and I get a back massage
