tcb motorcycle braking

I was really skeptical about how and if the TCB braking system really worked, but after almost hitting a truck I decided to try them on my bike since I could return them and I love them. The old site is off but I did a search for their new one and it came up.

Online reviews are luke warm at best. Interesting read but I don't think I will spend the money.
Agreed. Still made Yamaha not offering ABS on the cruiser bikes :( 2015 and we get a cowl as "major" change... Love the bike but they better start picking up their game since the competition is definitely stepping up theirs!!

Interesting read. I've never liked anti-lock brakes on anything and what's worse is chevy traction control this gets turned off before I pull out everyday.

I think it's all a preference and what your use to. Price is high for a simple design IMO, I have always braked on a bike and atv using front and rears and I wouldn't like having to keep applying more pressure to stop, even though test show you stop at shorter distances. Again I believe if one would get used to how they perform it would be great!

If ABS etc. were this simple and cheap they wouldn't cost 1000's of dollars.

Personally I'd never even try them because a lot of bad things could happen even in a parking lot. I'll put them in the "Miracle Pill" category at best :(
Best advice is to go to the parking lot and practice applying the brakes at increasing amounts and speeds until you really know how to control the bike. If you practice a skill and really learn it then it will be instinctual in an emergency situation. In other words: Time well spent!!

Note: The OP and 1 guy promoting the device are new posters so suspect there as well.

The best way to know how awesome they work is to try them. You can install them, ride with them and if you don’t like them return them and get back all of your money, including the price to you and we pay return shipping.

Jim, are you paying the return shipping and money back? Or are your affiliated with the company? Just wondering where "we" came from.
Unless this is an old Seinfeld episode about Jimmy........ :)

Or try to install ABS system
I know a friend (Engineer) tells me it's not difficult to install ABS from another Yamaha bike
Not sure what he considers "not difficult" but to me the job would be pretty involved.
And, I'm not endorsing anyone try this because I think ABS is pretty much tuned for a specific vehicle etc. and not all that transferable.
Plus, I'm just a fan of really figuring out how to control your braking(ABS equipped or not) by practicing in a parking lot.

Back to the job. I think you'd have to do at least the following to make it work:
- Somehow add the rings to each hub that the sensors read
- Somehow mount said sensors on the front fork and rear swingarm etc.
- Run wires from sensor to ABS unit
- Mount the ABS brain/black box(s), run power to them and run additional brake lines to/from it to the existing brakes. Note that this could involve a lot of new lines...
- Bleed the whole system.
- Possibly something else...

I love good ABS and even some linked brake systems but we didn't get it. There are things that just shouldn't be jury rigged :)
