So, as I ride around I still get the 2 fingers held low from sportbikes. I been getting more peace signs held up from helmetless cruiser folks like me. The ATGATT guys just stare straight ahead like I'm not there. And I am getting a lot of biker waves from people on scooters.
How's things in your neck of the woods? I ride in Maine and NH.

Get 2 down from most everyone here in NY. I usually give a index finger somewhat downward with thumb up. I do for all whether they are DILLAGAF's or not. Also scooters, but the most fun is waving to kids on bicycles and tricycles. They seem to get a kick out of it too.

Fair number of cruisers it's a 2 down. Never got a peace sign but maybe because we are not helmetless state.

Get an occasional lifted wrist from the sport bike riders if they pass me on the highway (same lane normally) , but it's rare and can't think its ever happened on a head-on pass. The sport bike guys have full face helmets with dark tint or its mirrored so its impossible make eye contact with them or see where their focus is. But I will say that I rarely see even two sport bikes give each other a wave.

It's funny how we are all "riders" but we get categorized or grouped by the bikes we ride.

Two down for everyone I meet while riding.

Simple wave to bikes riding by if I'm working out in the yard. To let them know I'm a friend of bikes.

Shake my head or WTF palms up gesture to sport bikes that try to hit 90mph on my little 1/2 mile stretch between stop signs. (I have nothing against sport bikes, but when they are endangering kids that's where I draw the line) Never seen a cruiser try this.

Always wave somehow to the little kids on the BMX bikes. (mine was my Huffy-Davidson). I think I made their day when they give a big smile and look at each other like someday man, that's gonna be us!

Also had a group of 10-12 bikes or so following me in my car after work the other night on the freeway. Didn't think they were from around here. Ride leader seemed to know I was watching out for them and blocking on ramp traffic for them. They settled in behind me for about 15 miles. Thought it would be dorky to wave from my car, but I did stick my arm out the window and point down to a notoriously bad spot in the road. (BIG pothole, crumbling pavement, always wet). They all avoided it ok. A few miles later they took an decreasing radius exit ramp way too hot. I hope they are all ok.
