I have not liked the stock pegs from day one and have been wanting floorboards for myself. I am 6'1" and have size 12 feet. I have been looking at these floorboards at the dealer for a VStar 1100 for the last 6 months thinking I think they will fit! Well this morning me and the wife take a ride to yami dealer and I buy them for 156.00. I get home and take pegs off and these things bolt right up perfect!! I was intrigued by the Cobra swept boards but they do not show how they mount and besides- I wanted genuine Star floorboards. I am not sure why I didnt buy these back in December.

Thank you for this post. I have been eyeing the cobra ones too but I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for them and not even know what they looked like mounted. I will get a set of these. I am planning a long trip and the floorboards will definetly help out. thanks again!

Would you have the part number for these or know what years they were for? $156 looks like a pretty good price from what I'm seeing online.

Yes- STR-5EL57-10-00 for XVS1100 V Star. the actual price on sealed package was 173.00, but they give me 10% discount on everything. Did not mention for what years, but DejaBlu's post on part numbers might tell. Also- Check Ebay. I will try it myself and see whats available and get back to you.

My feet get any more comfortable they will fall asleep. Now I don't feel like I'm standing on ladder rungs while riding. Safety is not even an issue WTF

As I said- they are like standing on the floor compared to on a ladder rung- Literally! Especially notice the difference on long rides!!

By safty I ment any concern in tight conering with the board touching the ground, do you think you might what a shift lever for the heal of your boot for up shifting ?

Hey Clar, the floorboards swing up just like the pegs do, and I most likely will never angle it over that far on purpose. Would probably scare the crap outta me LOL. I tryed the heel shifter on a VStar 1300 and for me it was extremely awkward. Watch The Flowers.

Shows fits 2000-2009 VStar 1100 Custom. I have seen the floorboards for the 650 and 950 VStar and they look identicle, but can't confirm it.

This is awesome, this will forsure by my next purchase.
I have been dying for floorboards since I've been on em with a Harley and these pegs are exactly how you described em.. standing on a ladder the entire trip.
After doing a 375 mile trip on these things I was ready to nail a board to the **** thing. heh

Are the floorboards better with the large feet? I got a size 16 shoe and find myself dragging a my heel in the corners, as well as having a hard time with finding comfy feet positions.
