Ok, I'm dizzy from spinning through the manual pages looking for something on the plastic push button panel rivets on the bike. Does anyone know exactly what type and more important size they are? I found some similar stuff on eBay but am not sure of the size we need.

It is item 37, a rivet.

Thanks, Stroguy, I was curious about these too since one of mine went flying across the garage the first time I popped one out and never found it. But holy Shiite, I can't believe they charge a buck for this pieces of plastic!

Good thing it's not a Harley part... It would be $30.:madgrin:....
And it would be out of stock.
and when you finally got it, it would be wrong.

I found a bag of these at "Cycle World" yesterday. Don't know if you have one near by but I think they are reasonably price and I think it comes in a package of ten. I didn't actually buy any since all mine are in tacked, but I may get a bag just in case.

I found some like it at Lowes, but nothing seems to be the same hole size for whatever reason.

Just go to an auto mechanics shop, we buy these things in bulk and give them away as they break when we work on cars. I doubt they'll charge you for it.
