My buddy got pulled over for wearing a replica helmet, I usually wear one and so do alot of others at my work, the ticket said riding without a helmet, nasty ticket, if you live in California be careful, I am going to the dot helmet.

Thats a **** good question, my answer is because it is very light and cool when it is in the 100s, I get your point though and agree !!

I don t believe in saying can t, but I can t pull off a half dome, I will go back to my fullface regardless of the heat.

I bought one of these from the motorcycle super store and I still have the mushroom effect. Not sure if I have an odd shaped head..lmao.. BUT... I have only worn it once, because at speeds around 55+ it shakes.. knida a vibration.. ( not sure how else to describe it ) causing a bad headache.

Sounds like you do have a odd shaped head! Or you don't have the right size. Mine fits well and with it strapped on snugly, I don't have any issues.

I don't think we'll find any DOT half-helmet that doesn't give us a mushroom head, but out of the many I've tried, this one has the lowest profile on my head.

yeah the mushroom head coupled w/ the awful wind noise did me in. i know you can wear earplugs, but i wasn't going that route. i like hearing when someone is riding my ass or changing into my lane. full helmet w/ visor up is how i roll

I have this same helmet. Bought it at a Harley Dealer. Look's like it's ilegal. Got pulled over for it. Read post attached.
