i've been thinking about going with either a 240 or 250 tire. i also want to lower the bike. the only thing is that i always have my wife on the back and i'm worried about it bottoming out. do you guys have any suggestions on what kind of setup i should get. also i have the stock fender. do i need to change that if i go with a 250?

Since you want a larger tire while riding 2+ all the time you're probably going to want to go with the PCS lowering links on 1” setting or the Low and Mean 1.5” lowering spring. The Avon 240 has the smallest diameter of all of the 240’s and it's very popular on this board. If you do the PCS links on 2.25" setting with the Avon 240 you may get some slight rubbing with a passenger. It all depends on the total payload.
