The sidewalls of the tires on my 2011 have a sort of brownish tinge to them, and look like crap against the black wheels. Any suggestions? Have always stayed away from any tire dressings on a bike, but would really like to do something to make them look better.

Black shoe polish cream. Apply and use like you were doing a pair of shoes. Finish with the shoe shine finish.:thumb:

I've got some stuff I use on the plastic side rails on my truck works good and dries fast goes on with a sponge applicator Bondo Back to Black - got it at PepBoys. Have you tried using some Dawn with a stiff bristle brush to see it would wash off?

I have the same thing on my stock tires as well. I used bleach sidewall cleaner and it took most of it off.

Thanks, only thing i've tried is just mild car wash type stuff. I'll try a brush and dawn/bleche wite (yes,that's the brand not my spelling) and see.
