Did you cut the bracket for the stock lights or were you able to just remove it?

Mine is cut high enough that it came off with the extra.

I was clever and my cut is right through the middle of it. Half is attached to the part I'm cutting off and the other is connected to the fender. I don't really want to cut higher though.

Ya, thats about what mine looked like, although mine was luck didn't plan it, just used a spot weld drill bit and off it came!

StraightJacket, did you repaint the fender after you cut it or did you just touch up the cut somehow?

I'm planning on doing more to it, so I just touched it up. It didn't mess the paint up too bad so just sprayed a litle paint into the cap and used a little brush along the edge.
