Last week, the father of a good friend of mine, was in a single vehicle accident on his HD Road King and has been in intensive care since. Doctors are saying that he will be paralyzed from the waist down and there is a chance that he could also be paralyzed from the neck down. He had some minor movement of his shoulders initially but has since been unable to move them. He is currently on a ventilator but I believe that they are going to be taking him off of that soon and doing a tracheotomy. The good news is that the doctors have not found any brain damage. It is unclear waht caused the accident because Ron is unable to talk or comprehend anything at this point but guys please be careful out there.

Very sorry to hear such a thing...It reminds me that we always have to be defensive riders just the other day lady cut me off and had to get on the safety side of the road to pass her.

My sympathy goes out to Ron, his family and all his friends that are affected by this tragic accident. It really bothers me when I hear about fellow motorcycle rider going down, because of someone else’s ignorance. Hang in there and more prayers coming your way.
