in my constant pursuit of finding plastic crap on my bike thats not needed, today i removed those goofy looking batman plastic things on my front forks where the seals are. not sure of the purpose, but they had to go. forks look much cleaner and meaner. looking at the forward belt cover thing next.

Those batwing plastic things are fork protectors from flying stones off vehicles ahead of you. if the fork gets nicked, it will end up leaking- thus expensive repair!
