Hello everyone My name is Chris a newbie to the the forum . I just wanted to place this post to tell all stryker riders of my road trip to Maine from
Florida and back a total of 3200 miles on my 2011 stryker. It got 45 mpg on the highway. The ride wasn't to bad either. A better seat and some
highway pegs are in order before I do another long road trip. But all n all it wasn't bad.

Welcome from Atlanta Chris, I did a little over 2400 miles to Vegas back in May, peg extensions made a huge difference along with the Batwing

Did either one of you do 1000 miles with in 24 hours and have proof you will qualify for iron but. I came close did 750+ maybe 800.

I avgd 450-500 miles per day, never really felt any pain in the ass so I probably already had an iron ass, did 240 miles today on the L&M seat so I at least qualify for a copper ass

Welcome from MN.... Your post was sorta funny for me. A friend of mine named Chris also tried to make that trip on a 78 kaw 650.... He didn't fare as well his bike broke down in Boston and New York. Congrats on the bike and trip.

to all that have replied to my post. I did the trip first day heading up 1200 miles in 24 hrs. took break reststop in mass. then finished on to Bangor me.
The trip back i did 850 miles in 15 hrs. but this time i got a room in Va then finished trip next day 799 miles 12.5 hrs. My girlfriend told me of the
Iron Butt thing going to check into. I saved all my gas reciepts and logged milage.
