OK, dumb question - I assume that the turn signals come apart for disassembly, but how do you separate the front gloss part from the back matte half?

I know what you're talking about, but why would you want to take it apart at there?

My advice, just take them all the way off and go with an integrated light

I already have grips with turn signals integrated into the ends - I was just trying to maximize the wire length

Oh i see....i'm not sure how or if those things come apart at that spot. Maybe someone else can answer?

Maybe try taking the lens off to see if there are more screws inside holding it together.

Did that, took the bulb and inner plate out too - didn't see any screws. Tried gently twisting the two halves but nothing. I didn't want to break the housing in case I don't like what I have lined up to replace them with.

Was just lookin at mine...............Bend the clip down and away from the horseshoe clip and pop it,horseshoe clip out. Then the two parts will be separated. I didn't go any further.
