I just installed the twin staggered exhaust yesterday and put on 80 miles today. There has been a lot of talk about how this pipes really leaned out the bike and talk about whether to do the O2 mod, unplug the the O2 sensor or do a fuel management. So I took out the O2 sensor and installed a wide band sensor. The end result is this, with the O2 unplugged my bike was dialed right in. It ran 14.5-14.7 at cruising speed and 13.0-13.5 on acceleration. So IMO unplug the O2 sensor.

Quite a few posts addressing this problem. Seems to happen most often with the twin staggered. Supposedly our bikes are tuned toward the lean side from the factory and supposedly our stock ECU has a limited range of adjustment and can't compensate enough when adding a free-er flowing exhaust. Some people have problems and solve it with the O2 mod, others get a tuner. Some have no problems at all.

Yep, that is why I got the wide band sensor. A lot of ideas on this problem but no facts. As far as I am aware of nobody actually had the air/fuel ratio checked. I was originally going to use it to tune to in with an EJK tuner. Glad I got the wide band first because now I know I don't need EJK. I won't say this works for every set up but it does for a fact work with the Twin Staggered with stock air.

I am too familiar with the Cobra line up but it should be good. As far as I know there should be pots to adjust your fuel mixture. There are other's on here that are using it. Try doing a search on it to see want kind a settings are being used. Maybe some using this will chime in.
