So I don't normally go this fast but today on my way home I was felling a little froggy and opened it up till I hit 115 or 120 MPH. I am lowered and have a 250 tire and my mirrors and "bike in general" were vibrating to the point I couldn't see any thing out of the mirrors. just wondering if anyone one else has had this issue at high speed or maybe I have something a little off alignment.

I'm supposedly balanced in the rear. At least that's what the dealer said when they mounted the tire. I installed it myself however. I've hit that speed to all stock and don't remember shaking like that.

I do have to say tho with the V&H Exhaust, Fi2000 auto tuner and hypercharger I got there in a **** hurry. Great products.

Did you have the faring on, when i exceeded 110 with my 2010 950 VStar it did the same thing, when i took the fairing off it was much smoother.
Wow saclean, you can get more than 110 out of your 950? Is it stock? I got my 09 up to 110 with and without a windshield, but that's all she had and I think that was with a strong tail wind. lol. Don't recall any increased in normal vibration other than in the floorboards though.

I don't see myself riding at that speed ever I think the most I've done is 85.. I'm afraid if I get to 88 mph I'd go back to the future... In all seriousness I bought the stryker as a cruising bike not a race bike, If I'd wanted to be at those speeds I would get a sports bike.

I think some of us still have that young man in us or are still young and want to go that fast because it can. Others just want to see if our bikes will really go that fast. So if you want to know they do get up to 130 very fast and seam to to have a bit more to go. I've been there twice. once 2 up and once solo. However on a 3rd attempt I couldn't get past 115 but have chalked that up to bad gas. So if it wasn't for that I would probobly never attempt that speed again but when I get the chance I will test it one more time to make sure that's what the problem was.
As for any abnormal vibrations there were non, in fact I thought it was quite smooth for v twin and I was surprised
it actually would hit 130.

lol on the back to the future reference.

Seriously bro, can't believe you haven't been over 85. I have a hard time staying under 90 just about everytime I get on the bike. The fastest I've done is 125. Done over 105 a number of times with the girlfriend on the back. I like to do that because it makes her squeeze onto me really tight :D

I had an accident last year going about 40 mph on a suzuki s40 650cc and underwent knee surgery. After I recovered from it I traded that bike for my stryker. I guess I'm a little afraid to get that fast and loose control of the bike...

I've had my Stryker just a touch over 190km/h, I guess that would be around 120m/h. The bike was sweet as I would expect for a V/twin but I sure had to hang on to those handles. I feel most comfy around 140km/h that would be around 85m/h thats my sweet spot. I have always loved to push it a bit and have a GSX R750. I have seen 264km/h on that clock that would be around 165m/h. As of now those crazy days are over. Due to the financial squeeze, my age and ergonomics I have decided to sell the bike. Will be going tomorrow most likely. **** sorry to part with that bike but I guess it's time. Fortunately I still have my Stryker and I have a Suzuki Burgman 650 exec for commuting, so I still have so much to be thankful for.
I'll try to post the pic of the two Suzys. I loved that GSX so much I had the Scooter paited the same style.
