For a Winter project, I've been thinking about upgrading the stock shifter and brake pegs. I constantly look the bike over for mod ideas and every time I see those pegs it's like a poke in the eye. They look like they belong on a 70's mini bike. The problem is that they also look like a b!!tch to change. I'm wondering if anyone has looked these over and has some ideas.

Are we looking at cutting off the existing pegs and then drilling out the arms to accept something aftermarket? I haven't really looked into what it would take to get the whole thing off the bike to work on them, but it can't be easy.

Their not to hard to take off and put on. Its just the spring that was a pain to get back on...
