I'm ready to order an exhaust soon. I really like the big radius, but I'm curious if anyone has ever burned themselves on the top pipe that comes forward and down over the gear box? The cobra sweets look the may give you more leg room while riding. AnY thoughts?

burn a leg...well I don't ride in shorts but if you did, then I'd say its not only possible, but likely. That being said the pipes look great sound great and as long as your not wearing flamable clothing while riding or shorts..then its really a non issue, adjust your foot placement at lights and no problems.

It didn't take long to adjust to a slightly new foot placement. Once in a while my right calf gets a little close and I feel the heat but I wear jeans and boots so no problem. This is what V&H sound like

Yeah like others have said....takes a little time to adjust...a little wider stance at lights .....and always wear proper gear. I never ride in shorts....not even when I had my sport bike. Funny you'd see guys in a tank top, shorts, and flip flops pulling stunts through town.....makes you wonder where their head was at?

Thanks for the info. I was mainly concerned about riding with rain gear on. A couple of years ago I was caught in the rain on a 1500 mile trip. Had to buy rain gear to ride in. Inside of my right leg ended up melting to my old exhaust......could never get the burnt residue off my pipes.
