V&H Slash pipes [/glow]
I've noticed a lot of members have the V&H pipes on this site my question is why is it that the Dennis Kirk website called these pipes slip ons when clearly they look like all new pipes all together. Can anyone tell me that own them if they are slip ons and how was the install?

The best deal I found was from LeClare Powersports. The prices online look comprable to what I paid. I had the dealer install my pipes and my auto tuner together so I can't comment on the install process, but I'm really happy with the pipes. A little louder than I expected but they sound really good through most of the rpm range.

Sorry to go off topic but I've been going back and forth over ordering the bullet fairing. I really like the club bike / quarter fairing look. How does it look in person? Are you happy with the shape, color match, etc?

Yes the fairing is pretty much made for this bike its the perfect size and not to high to take wind from your face, but nobody has answered my question, are these pipes a slip on or full 2x2 pipes?

The thing about the fairing is that it is full Plexiglas or whatever they make it from its just one big piece and they put like a window tint inside for the black area so it looks amazing from far away and the color is a gloss black but the bike is a flake metallic black so up close in the sun u can tell but not while riding or at night obviously

I would think it would take paint just fine ppl have painted the boulevard wind screen I'm sure this fairing can, I've seen some pictures on here, not to be mean but if u don't have a raven don't leave it black looks horrible if ur in a color try and match it, I remove mine from time to time so I'm not thinking of spending money on painting something black again black, but it does hide my HID setup very well the ballast gets hot and it would be ignorant to put it in the light housing even though it fits
