New to the forum and I must say that I've learned a good bit about my stryker from this forum. I just installed the Twin Slash Staggered from V&H and after about 50 miles of riding I noticed alot of poping or backfiring when I let of the gas. I was wondering if anyone else with this exhaust was running a little lean and used a fuel management system to fix it. I know V&H do not make a fuelpak for it yet so each one would you go with.

Rope. You need a power commander, or some kind of FMS. I have the same set up that you do but I added a PC and had the guys at PC make a map just for the Stryker based on those pipes and a stock air filter. I losted the map in the "Power Commander Maps" section of the forum.

I really wouldn't advise running your scooter much with out it. It may do some damage

Do you have an aftermarket air intake? If so the cobra Fi2000 autotune or adjustable one work great. I have the adjustable and settings I use are 2.5, 4.5, 3.0. Much cheaper than the autotune and you can adjust the settings.
