Hey guys im looking into buying a new exhaust for my bike and I was just curious if anyone here has the Vance and Hines big radius exhaust. If you do have it I would just like to know a few things. One would be do you think it sounds good? Second and more important question is there any issue running that exhaust without getting a tuner? Thanks in advance for your time!

Yes my Son has it on his Stryker and sounds and looks great. Great Rumble while idling and tough as heel sounding the rest of the time. He ran his with no issues till he did the Original 57.00 Homemade BAK. Then he got a Cobra Tuner which fixed those problems. You won't have any issues until you change to high performance air cleaner setup.

Big Air Cleaner. Generic term- but means more open Air flow than stock air cleaner. this is a very popular mod to greatly enhance performance of your bike.

ok I figured it had something to do with that.. Yeah from what ive read people say you can do an exhaust or air cleaner with no tuner but if you but them together then you need a tuner. thanks for your help!

Boy, am I glad you posted that picture. You have a very similar setup to what I have and will be putting together... Made me realize a couple things.

- I have the Hardstreet Slimbags and will be swapping the stock pipes for the Big Radius 2-into-2. It's nice to see that because of the downward sweep of the pipes, I'll be able to remount my bags lower, to better follow the lines of the rear fender.

- I'm also about to pull the trigger on a chrome spike air cleaner. It took me a minute to see yours since it was black. Kinda blended into the rest of the bike. ;-) I'm glad I got to see the actual fit on there, since it extends so far forward, I'm going to have to relocate my air horn. Are you using the L&M performance air intake adapter to connect your spike air intake?

Yeah I am using the l&m intake adapter. I wouldn't recommend it though. It seems kinda flimsy.

Here is the exhaust on the bike, I have a side mount plate on the way as well since I did the fender delete so for the time being its just kinda floating under the tail light and isn't the best look IMO
