Vance & Hines Twin Slash Staggered
Just when I was getting ready to pull the trigger on the Cobra swept pipes I saw Phat performance listing Vance & Hines Twin Slash Staggered in black. It shows it as a pre-order, with no indication of a ship date. I went ahead and ordered them. I am supposed to recieve an email telling me expected ship dates. I guess if the wait time is too crazy I may back out and go with the Cobra's(I'm afflicted with impatience disorder).

Well I just ordered the V&H Twin Slash Staggered for More Power Racing. Thier prices are freaking awesom. Got the twins for 426.00 delivered. The price on the 2 into 2 from them is 559.96 delivered.
My PowerPro 2000 also came in the mail today. I'm so excited! The next two weeks are going to drag on forever!

I have attached a video of the stock pipes (actually drilled baffles) and one of the new Vand H pipes (seperate post). There is a big differeance in sound even though the videos don't sound a whole lot different. At idle there is a deeper note and when you lay into the throttle they really sing. At cruising speed they have a very manageable sound. You can always get a quieter baffle if need be but I am happy with the stock baffle. The bike runs better and I am running stock ECU and air cleaner. I don't even need 5th gear until about 70 now vs. 60-65 with the stock pipes. Very happy with these pipes. I was considering the Cobra Power Pro and a new aircleaner but now I don't think I need any more. Fast enough and sounds great.

The Vand H pipes. I'll get a video outside later. They sound better outside. The first video I did you could hear the difference between the stock and these but it was too big to post. Don't want to wake the neighbors quite this early. I need to tell everyone to check their exhaust flanges. Two of my cap screws were loose when I went to take off the stock exhaust, one on each flange. I was getting blow-by on both.

I'm installing the cobra auto tuner at the same time. I'll post the results and let you know. It'll be two weeks.
In my opinion those V&H pipes sound a lot better than the Cobra Swept pipes Ive been hearing
