If I did not have to deal with the BC Ferries BS, I would give this serious consideration.

That, I TOTALLY understand. I hate having to deal with them to get off the rock.
There are a lot of things on the lower mainland I'd come over for. But the time, hassle and mostly the expense make it something that no one really wants to do to get there.
I'll take a ride up to this event as long as the weather is clear.
