I know there are a couple of us on the island with Strykers. Summer is coming and hopefully it'll be another good one for us on the wet coast.
Having our own section on the forum for BC and other locations around here should help some of us meet up.

Maybe we will do a weekend adventure one year. I really want to do the ride out to Tofino. It is just not the same in an SUV towing crap or with kayaks on the roof.

I was south of you at that time by a bit. I have only been to Friday Harbor, mainly on the ferry over to Anacortes.

I haven't done that road on my bike. It'd be a scenic ride, but the road usually isn't in good shape. Lots of pot holes, especially in the corners when you are heading through the mountain and up around Kennedy Lake.
Even on a summer day you'd have to prepare for all types of conditions with that route.
Living on the island and I don't take enough advantage of the rides available to me here. It's hard to get off the rock, but I've done the ride out to Pemberton and would love to do that loop.
With any luck maybe a couple of us will meet up at some point in the near future.

I should be south your way a couple of times this summer. Once around the August 1st long weekend to ride 101 around the Olympic Peninsula and then again the end of September for the Oyster Run.
If our dollar wasn't equaling the Mexican Pesos vs the USD I'd probably consider another trip or two there. I would love to ride up towards Leavensworth up in that area.
