I love this bike...but the transmission clunks something terrrible. The dealer says ...aaah it will work in..ok 800 miles I took it in and had them try it...yaaa its real noisy and clunky...Anyone else have same issue>

Mine is a but clunky, I wonder if amsoil synthetic would help

Mine smoothed out a bit after the dealer did the 600 mile check/adjustment.

About 350 miles on mine and clunky as [email protected]@, my vulcan was kinda the same, I figured a bike is not sound proof like a car, everything is out in the open, your gonna hear alot of different noises I suppose, maybe it will get better through break in, either way I am gonna continue to have a blast.

3200 mi and the clunk is starting to soften on mine.

I found this bike does not like to shift at low RPMs. You really have to rev it! Its A LOT smoother and quieter when you shift closer to red line. Give it a try.
