My wife told me I could have what ever I wanted within reason for my birthday which was a couple weeks ago. So I have been looking at getting either the GoPro or the Contour camera, they both appear to be good cameras but I'm curious as to what others use or feedback you may have. I keep leaning toward the Contour because it doesn't look oddly out of place attached to a helmet. Any input?

I have a buddy that uses a drift mounted to his helmet. His also came with a wireless remote that he mounts to his handle bars to start stop and turn it on and off. The best quality you'll get is with the gopro 2 though. It has amazing night quality ontop of awesome day quality

I have the go pro and bought the handlebar mount. Im really satisfied with the video quality, sound quality is hit or miss at times. I usually mount it on the handlebar risers but have put it on other places like frame. So far I havent really recorded anything exciting. Wish I wouldve had it the day of the crash.

Midland XTC for a great budget action Cam... or a Contour if you want some good hight quality vids... I like both of these over the Hero cam... mainly due to the size and shape... Hero is real boxy... these 2 are pretty sreamline... both come with several mounts that work great.. I like a Ram mount for mine.. I use them mainly for my ATV at the dunes... never had one fail.
