Does anyone know if the Vstar 950, 18” front wheel and axle will mount to the Stryker?
Why some may ask, there are more options for tires on the 18 wheel than there are on the 21” tires. I am putting a lot of weight on the Stryker and there are more 18 tires available that are rated higher than the 21. Also I am planning on going Double Dark, which is impossible with the 21.

double dark = two car tires i believe... i actually dont know if it would work. you could try doesnt hurt wouldnt be that hard to do real quick.. but in my opinion ive never been a fan of car tires.. just seems dangerous to me. that being said i work in a tire shop and have seen how fast any sidewall damage results in a blow out but not knocking it to eaches own

Double dark huh? Any pics of this being done already? Guess you could pull it off if it didn't ride well? You'd need a new front fender as well, but I'm sure you know that. If this is just to carry more weight, it's not just the tires that are affected but the suspension, and well the entire bike? I'd like to see it, would look kinda cool.
I personaly dont think it would handle well, but I've been wrong before, unless I'm mistaken? :D As far as the statement "You could try, doesnt hurt", Oh ya it could hurt!!! It could hurt alot!

Double darksider is putting a car tire on the rear and a "rear" motorcycle tire on the front.
I have seen, but can't remember, I think it was avon that actually used a single tire for front and rear .
The only way I would put a car tire on the front is if I run a hack and change the whole front end.
I am looking at putting a dual sport tire on the front and increasing its weight capability by about 200lbs, I am also increasing the handling in gravel and dirt and muddy roads, without decreasing on road handling.
I have already found the tire I am going to use.

I have one on order with the axle, spacers, bearing and seals, I will probably have to mix and match and customize the fit. I have been looking at some dual sport rear tires and shall see which ones have the longest longevity, mostly 80-20 tires are the one that peak my interest.
