All right I have a gas indicator warning. Went for a great ride on Sunday. 86*F, so it was T-Shirt and Bean Helmet ride with sunglasses. 8) Started ride knowing I was going to have to get gas. The LCD showed one square, but my route along the ST. Lawrence River has a lot of gas stations. As I drove the square was still there and the count up clock did not start. In one area of my ride I hit 3 miles of SHAD FLY ****. 100's of thousands of shad flys. It was so bad it felt like it was raining with every Shad Fly exploding on me and I felt the wetness of thier insides. I started laughing it was so bad, thinking this is what you would see in a movie. I also ride without a windshield. :) Well all of a sudden my bike shut down. So first thing I though was the bike was overheated, because the rad area must have been caked on with Shad Flys. But no. Tried bike again still wouldn't start, so I new I must be out of gas. Tried one last time and it started, so I rode less then a mile to the nearest gas station.

The bike still read one square, but now that I was under a canopy I could see my fuel light was on. I then put in the most gas I ever put in my bike, so I was riding on fumes. 16 lt (4.25 gal). Because I use my trip one indicator at every fill up, to see how my gas milege is. It read 275 KM (170 miles). But the count up indicator never went on. So my warning is you may not want to rely on this. It has always worked for me before, till now. So I'll use my trip one indicator from this point on, and will stop for fuel at the 250 reading.

Should also state that right now I'm running with slip on Cobra, fuel processor and original air intake. Need to get more air in my bike, so new air intake soon.

Basically anywhere from the Quebec border to Brockville. Saw another Blue Stryker yesterday in Brockville with Quebec plates. Don't know if he's on this site. Didn't seem to have done anything to his bike yet.

I have found out the hardway that if your light comes on, and switches you to the countdown(fuel) odo, you really should stop and get gas! When you shut the bike off it seems to reset, and can take a little while to come back on, also it dosnt come back up in the fuel mode, you have to put it back to see how far you've gone. I ended up having to push for about a mile because I forgot. ::)

Are you guys riding the 2011 Stryker or 2012? I have the ’12 and my gas warning indicators function acurately. Just wondering if made an adjustment to that sensor for the ’12 release.
So far no probs with mine. 2011. 4,000 miles. I know where I ride and where my gas stops are. That helps. I don't have the luxury of a station on every corner up here. If I ran out up here I would be totally screwed.
