Alright guys, hopefully some of you guys can give me a good advice on this. I've been trying to buy a pressure washer for my bike and my cars as well, but I don't know if I should go with just a simple electric 1500 psi or buy the gas one with 2500 psi. I'm really just looking to give it a good wipe to my bike, without having to scrub in between all the wiring. Would this washer do the job? I would really appreciate you guys honest opinion thank you.

I wouldn’t use a pressure washer "because" of all the exposed wiring, connectors etc...

+1. Pressure washers can be bad news for bikes. In addition to the exposed wiring, connecters etc, they also have a tendency to push water into places where water shouldn't be. Wheel bearings, grease seals, forks, switches. Just give the bike a gentle wash with a good product, dry it of and keep it waxed. Leave the pressure washer for farm equipment!

Yes good point. I have some friends that never use water hose to wash. They use wet microfiber towels and dry.

I agree with the idea the pressure washer is a bad idea. Seals and finishes will get ruined.

However I've used a garden hose to wash my bikes hundreds of times. The dammed thing is designed to function the elements. If a simple garden hose breaks the bike then I wouldn't trust the bike at all.

WOW amazing, how nobody here uses a pressure washer for the horse(not saying there's something wrong) so it seems that just the regular water hose will be more than enough. Well $100 extra bucks in my wallet. Not bad!!!
