Has anybody weighed the stock exhaust after taking it off?

Nope. But looking to swap it out with some Cobra Swept pipes. Why do you ask?

I installed a Cobra slip on a few months back. The slip on portion of the stock exhaust weighs 22 lbs according to my digital bathroom scale. I would say it's about twice the weight of the Cobra I put on. Probably have to add 5-10 lbs for the header portion of the exhaust.

i thought it would be pretty heavy. i am weighing pros and cons for getting an aftermarket exhaust. sound does nto matter to me, i wear an mp3 player while i ride anyways, i was looking purely from a performance and weight perspective.

The stock header portion is very light, its the mufflers and cat that are heavy.

+1. I would venture to guess about 30 lbs for the cat back alone.

I have my stock exhaust off right now so I weighed it on my digital scale. 31.0lbs fo the complete exhaust.
