Well was on my way down to LA to drop off my bike at dannygray for you guys. I hit some traffic and was doing good when I decided to chech the gas level. So looked down for a second and when I looked up every one was stopped. Tried my best but couldn't slow in time. I hit the truck in front of me.

That Sucks, Thats one thing about Cruisers I noticed. Compared to scooters and sportbikes, the brakes SUCK.

Glad you're ok. That's i wished they had the fuel guage with the speedo. On a side note, did you put the original seat back on before the wrecker took it? One pic show's the new one and the other one on the wrecker has the original on it. ???

Ya the gas gague sucks. It's like sending a txt while driving tring to get to it. Anyway. I was doing about 60 when I relized they has stopped. Slammed on the brakes and had cars to the left and right so swerving was going to cause a ping pong effect. So time to suck it up and take the hit. So at the last second before impact I'm estimating at 20 - 25 mph. I laid on the front brake to lock it up and dived down and just went limp. I wound up bouncing off his tailgate instead of going over it. And the only thing that's really hurt is my right thumb since I didn't let go of the brake. And my back from the backrest. After I stopped myself with his bumper in them proceeded to use the asphalt to slow the rest of the way. After I stopped rolling. I was on my back. I looked down my legs to notice a white line to the led of me and between me and my bike and watching a semi bearing down on my crotch. So I rolled back over onto the bike till I heard traffic slow then laid on the freeway till I figured for the most part nothing was serious.
