So I stopped by a local dealership to throw a leg over a Stryker and couldn't pass up the deal. I was looking at a used 2011 in DE but wanted to check one out locally before making the drive. Took a ride on a demo Stryker then immediately signed paperwork on a 2013.

Can't say enough great things about the people at Glen Burnie Motorsports. Kind, curtious staff and a no-pressure sale...

Welcome from Missouri. I love no pressure sales, that's how I ended up with my stryker verses a honda fury I was interested in. Never heard of a stryker before seeing it in person. I guess I'm glad the Honda shop was pushy and in my face giving me the reason to walk out and check out Reno yamaha in Kansas city..... no pressure from my sales guy.

Your story sounds familiar! I was just curious to see what the Stryker was like. I walked out since I wasn't going to buy a bike while on leave from Afghanistan, but returned within a hour to sign the papers for a 2012 Stryker around $7400 new. I love this bike...it's been 15 years since I rode, but it feels so natural! Congrats and ride safe!!!

Thanks everyone! Just got back from my inaugural ride and am very pleased. It's completely different than my previous bike (03 R6). The best part was that my body doesn't hurt like it did after riding the R6. The only downside is that the power delivery is very different. I felt like I was lugging and always one gear too high. It'll come with practice!
