Just picked up bike, awesome riding home but had a little rain and wheels got of course dirty, what cleaner do I use on them without having to get hose out and wash. I'v always had chrome wheels so they were easy to clean. I use Honda spray cleaner&polish on just about everything. Is that ok to use on black wheels. :-\

I wouldn't use any oil based products near the tires unless you wipe it on and make sure there is not a chance it gets to the tread.
I guess I should stop using ArmorAll on my sidewalls then.
HEHEHE, That depends on what kind of ride you want to go on!

Yes the Honda Polish will work just fine anywhere on the bike except for the tires. Just spray some on a rag and wipe the wheels down. That way you won't accidentally cover your tires with over-spray.

I use lemon pledge (you know the stuff the wife uses to clean furniture with) to clean the entire bike with seats, paint, plastics, chrome. It works way better then all the high dollar cleaners plus the bike smells great afterwards 8). Been using it on all my bikes, and atv's for years.

I have the black wheels and I just wash them really good when i go to the car wash and then i use Mequires Cleaner Wax on them... looks great... and it repels the break dust and dirt. yes you will have to roll your bike forward or back to clean the entire wheel.. lol

Ya that sounds like a good idea I think I will grab the wife's lemon polish and her favorite cloth and give it a try.lol.
Really though I use non oily furniture polish on my guitars. I bet it would work on bikes too. ::)
