Clunking is Normal. Does get alittle better with time and mileage, but still there on mine with 4000 miles on initial shift down to 1st.

I like the clunk. Lets me know when I am in first. Anybody out there NEVER pulled away from a stop in 2nd thinking you were in 1st?

Oh Ya, This old lame brain has done that a couple times! Makes ya feel like a real a$$ starting out in 2nd with a group of riders. CRS syndrome! LOL
