Just wondering if anyone has sold or know someone who has sold thier 2011 Stryker, what they got for it. Really looking for a Canadian price, but a depreciation % works both in Canadian and American dollars. I can figure out that the accessories added to the bike is a 40 to 50% drop it that value. Looking at it as a trade in more then a private sale.

I bought mine 6 weeks ago from the dealer at $9k out the door. That meant $8k and change for the bike with almost $1k for tax and license.

I just bought my '11 Stryker in May of this year for $9300 - he did have over 3 g's of mod's already on it... but still I thought it was worth it & that's the bottom dollar and the only dollar that matters... what's it worth to you.

i got my eye on a 2012 raven that the dealership is asking 8400 for. it's the best deal I have found in awhile. i have just a little more saved up so i can pay cash. got a buddy who's willing to trailer it to my house for me. it'll sit in the garage until i can take the safety course. if you ever get down here again Monte it would be cool to hook up.

OK. Here's the result. Blue 2011 Stryker ( 12,500KM)

Paid $12,500 for my Stryker (Canadian). Blue book says its now worth $8,100. So that's $4,400 loss or 36%. I have $3000 options on it, and one dealer would give me nothing for that and another would give me $ 8,750 for the bike with the accessories. :(

Not very happy, but its hard to get more for the bike when they have in their showroom a 2013 and 2014 for $12,500.

KBB and or the NADA is only a base line value of a vehicle. It works for one party or the other.
Depending on you trading in for another vehicle it can work for you or against you, Kinda like OBAMA care.
The validity of my ambiguous analogy is open for interpretation without a cognisant approach.

I agree, but unfortunately I'm trying to sell, so its working against me.

But I'm looking at a used bike also, so it may also work for me.

Gee, I guess it may be a break even in the end. Should here sometime today.
