What is the downside of lowering your bike?

I like to cruise through the Trailer parks to check out he trailer park moms... too many speed bump's in those parks ... i just lowered mine 1"....
Just incase I have to make the great escape! :nod:

I agree, if the total weight on the seat is less than 275 lbs then I think the lowered look of the 2.25" outweighs the lower footpegs and increased scraping. It's like any other vehicle that you lower, you have to use more caution. If over 275 lbs load, definitely 1" drop.
