There's a little talk going on about what type roads people prefer to ride. I live in Florida and we have managed to find some decent roads here, but they are few and far between. We have been
going to the rally the past few years and now wondering what kind of roads people really like. I love the mountain roads and twisties......the Snake was awesome, Blue Ridge Pkwy, Roan Mountain.....etc etc.

twisties and tree covered and mountain roads. I plan on driving the tail of the dragon sometime in the future its just a good distance from me

It has put me on some fantastic roads during trips.

any old backcountry roads. I love riding out in the middle of no where. And twisties.

Love back country roads and of course the twisties. The only thing I really hate is straight azz roads where your running one speed the whole time!

My thoughts exactly!! Don't put too much into the Dragon......The Snake has it all, and a lot longer.

I crossed the USA in 2004, from San Fransisco to Virginia beach. No Highways, just back road while deciding every morning where I was heading too. Took me 3 weeks.

The best one I rode were the desert back roads ...Arizona, Nevada, Utah. Those were AMAZING.

Back country roads without alot of houses and traffic. I hate interstate riding and only do it when I have to just to get somewhere. I've ridden the Dragon several times. Its fun but you better be safe and watch for the other guys. They'll pass you like you are sitting still and run wide when you are meeting them.

I might be wrong, I did that trip few years ago, but I think that it was in the Arches National Park in Utah. That state was quite a ride!!!

yeah, my buddy and I are going to do a spring ride from Atlanta to Vegas, it's gonna be awesome. The goal is to do 5-600 miles a day so we can maximize our time at the tables. nice pic buddy, I'd love to see more.

Have a great time, I am 3 hours from Vegas, we always have a blast there.
