WHAT PAINT DID YOU USE ON YOUR SPEEDO, IGNITION, AND HEADLIGHT.

Im looking to do this to my bike b/c it looks sweet.


Whats the best paint to use on this project to resist peeling and fading???

Just painted mine. I'm definately not a painter and this is nowhere near as nice as all the prep that bang did, but I thought a wrinkle finish would look good so here it is. Profesionaly done would be even better! I plan on doing the rear pully also(powdercoat). When I had the covers off couldn't help but think , lose the covers and go with spikes or something metal instead?

that really brings the bike together, now the harleys cant see you in the dark as you rip by them.. they cant catch you either

Looks pretty good from the picture. What did you do to get the wrinkle finish?

Thanks, I bought captian Krylon wrinkle finish,and just sanded. Says it addheres to plastic.

I personally plan to keep some chrome accents here and there, but I do like the flat look.

What would look totally cool would be to somehow get the forks anodized or black chromed!

Black/gunmetal chrome would look amazing
