I am thinking about a custom project bike to put beside the Stryker....something along the line of the Street Glide, but a metric. What is Yamaha's best for this purpose? Is it a stratoliner? Just not sure, but I want metric reliability.

This is sort of what I am looking for, but not quite.

This is a little more like it...less the ape hangers.

Anyone have any ideas or cool examples.

Been thinking of this my self. The custom bagger is deff the new chopper...Wish we could turn the Stryker into a custom bagger, as I already have one...

Ben
I just want a little different style for a seond bike....something a little more comfortable for the long rides 2-up. Throw a few things in and go. There are some really custom Street Glides out there, but I'm not a Harley guy.

At the moment, I wouldn't trade or convert my Stryker out for a bagger - I like where it is headed on it. This is definitely a second project bike to take the place of my RZR.

Felt more like a touring bike with a more upright riding feel to it, I'm sure it could be adjusted with lowering in the rear and an adjustment to the handlebars, I know they are selling well so I would absolutely go ride it, it just wasn't for me

My hubby rides a Roadliner, which is the same as a Stratoliner except no fairing (although he has added). He did not like the handlebars, so we bought the touring bars which brings the bars in and back. Even though he has long arms he did not like the feel of the stock bars. He is really liking the touring bars now. He originally went to the dealer to get a Raider and this is what he came home with. lol I am also going to purchase an adjustable lowering kit for his bike soon. Oh, and just to let you know apparently they don't always stay upright as in the below picture. This is not him, but another member on his forum.

You can turn any bike you want into a touring bagger. Raiders are starting to go that direction....my good friend
has bagged raider and has close to 70, 000 miles on it....08.

I like the looks of the kawi but sitting on it and picking it up.....its very heavy.
