I'm looking for a communication system that I could use when riding 2 up plus I also want to be able to connect to my phone and GPS via bluetooth and listen to music from pandora on my phone. What do you recomme nd based on your experience?

I have the Sena SMH10 2 headset bundle. It was $280 on amazon. Works really well as a intercom and the phone seems fine although I have only take a couple of calls while riding. I would say the audio quality when streaming bluetooth is not great, but I also have a pretty noisy helmet so that could be part of it. Mostly bought it so I could coach my wife while she is riding with me since this is her first season riding her own. Works very well in this regard, up to about a half mile range that I've tested.

+1 for Sena bundle from amazon. Works great, and sound quality for bluetooth music is surprisingly great for me.

+2 for Sena. My wife and I ride seperate Strykers and we get great intercom. They probably reach a good 1/2 mile as long as there are not a lot of curves in the road. Very simple for bluetooth connection. The priority order is phone, intercom, music. So if you are listening to music and you get a call, the music will stop. Once the call is over the music will start back up. Battery life is very good. We normally will charge them after a weekend of riding. I think they are supposed to last about 12 hours. I would recommend them, espeically for the price.

I also vote for the Sena. I debated over a month the Sena vs Scala. In the end I chose Sena because it has less buttons to f-with while wearing gloves and riding. Sound is crystal clear up to 75-80mph in my Shoei helmet. Contrary to Stryker biker, I think the audio quality is awesome streaming Bluetooth music. It could use more low end base, but what do you expect out of half dollar sized speakers.

Scala does have FM radio (but I didn't feel like searching for new stations while on the longer rides. I do wish I had the Scala capability of syncing with more than two other people though.

Yeah, I think my problems are more related to having a noisy helmet. I'm pretty happy with the Sena overall.

Here's a quick video I made a while ago with my camera in my helmet while sitting in my garage

Awesome dude I think I'll try the senna I basically want it for talking with my lady and answering phone calls / gps from my phone
Like I said earlier, the sound is clear up to 80mph. However, the microphone gets bad at speeds around 65mph and up. People can't tell I'm talking to them on the phone while riding a motorcycle until I reach highway speeds. Then they can't can't hear a single freakin' word I say LOL. And I have a full face helmet. Reviews I've read about Scala seem to be about the same.

I just want to make sure your expectations are where they should be with Sena.

That's cool man I mostly ride on back roads ~35-40 mph so it will be good for me and I rarely exceed 75 mph on the highway ...

Thanks for the info, I'm gonna buy them from amazon and try them first before my group buys them

UPDATE

I've used the Sena SMH10D-11 now for a couple of months and I've got to say that it works fantastic!, I'm able to talk in the highway at 75mph without any problems, use the GPS and I listen to my fav tunes all the time. One thing though, it works better with the I phone than it does with android system, at least the motorola atrix phone that I had, once I switched to the iphone 4s I haven't had any problems. Love it!!! I highly recommend it...
