I was wondering where everyone was putting there speakers on there bikes? I have been thinking about putting mine in a area on bike was wondering if I was the only person to put mine there. Plz post pictures where and give details on them what you think of your speakers!

Had a nice handle bar system on another bike from unique cycle sounds but they're not practicle on the Stryker (IMO) I have been looking at this system

I have a quick release switch blade windshield and only use it on the highway same as tunes so I have been looking at making a removable sound system (mount to windshield with a disconect plug for electrical) I have heard this rig at a HD dealer and it's very nice. Never liked using headphones on a bike so I'll be following this thread too and would to hear what people think and what they're doin

I have the Kuryakyn sound of chrome one in black, I am hear em just fine at 75 in the interstate and I wear a half helmet

I am thinking about having the welding shop weld something where i call the neck of the frame in that hole going to have my stereo ppl look at it bc i want the speakers to be hidden as much as possible!

Was thinking since they are black, they may blend in along side the key insert, maybe?? Not sure though....

Yup I had one too and returned it. Ok for around town, at low speeds, with the bike at idle, haha . Poor sound quality and the amp started to give out after a week.

Cycle sounds system works very well at all speeds and using their app to control volume keeps music at the right level adjusting using internal phone GPS worth the price definitely get what you pay for here

I put my speakers at home. The only sounds I want to hear when I ride is the sound of my exhaust.

I've been thinking about making a stereo to attach to the QR windshield. I'd only use it for long trips like the shield anyway. Here's kinda what I've been looking at making:

Hi Puma,

The out put looks pretty low I wouldn't less than a 200w system. but the hardware mounting kit on the second link is interesting. Any thoughts on the boom audio windshield kit?

Honestly I think the boom audio looks better but I haven't heard any of them first hand. So I'd hate to give a review. Those were some I was tossing the idea of trying to build. My neighbor and I purchased cheap stereo/ speakers off ebay thinking were could rig the sets. Flat out sucked! But just looking at the boom a bracket would have to be made to hang it on ( factory screen) and not sure if it would smack the speedo. Just my 2 cents.

Yup I agree Puma. I have heard the boom audio handle bar system and it was amazing. It's just alot of money to spend for a system you have to modify to mount.
