I am on the fence with all the pipe choices.... I want a deep/loud rumble. Performance and looks are always a bonus.... but is there any clear cut winner? If someone is nice enough to list the pros and cons of the different brands and styles... I would appreciated it. I been reading lots, but I do not think these videos can give me an accurate idea.... side by side would be best. I am also thinking of doing the computer and breather, but with that being said... does vance and hines use that as well (computer)?

Money is not a a factor... I just want the best overall combo of performance/cost/looks/SOUND! It does not have to be obnoxious by any means.... but I am scared I will spend $1500 on the swepts and be disappointed. So then I think V&H.... but I do not know which pipes do what etc.... this is my first bike. 2011 Stryker.

thx in advance

This is the way I have been leaning, going from the youtube videos.... but each shop I talk to push the cobra stuff? I realize there are a zillion of these posts, thanks for the replies though.

So if that is the pipes I am after, why not the staggered ones? Also, what then for the computer and intake!! thanks guys

this is my concern, everyone has a different opinion and preference.... I want a deep/loud/performance.... the only thing that concerns me about the V&H big radius... is how close the pipe will be to my short legs... but how and why is the staggered different? Is it looks/preference etc? I just want to pull the trigger and get some tuuuuuuuuuuunes

but again, does it really just come down to looks? It seems kind of obvious, but it also seems odd to have so many variables... if there are no pros and cons? There has to be a reason to go for one over the other?! thx again.

I would love any of the pipes really, I am sure... but if I am spending this kind of money... I want the best bang for my dollar!

Dude, the pipe against your leg will not b an issue. Just go with what looks the best to YOU. Personally, I like the Big Radius. I think they look better and higher quality than the Cobra and I looked at both. I also don't care for the straight pipes. There's really not all that much difference in the price so it really comes down to personal preference. So, quit being like a chic and just PICK ONE!!!

Lmao...i'm just kidding you bro, but seriously... 8)

lmao! I suppose... but the way that pipe goes on the outside of the case... makes me thinking it will touch my leg or be DARN close.....

So lets pretend I am going with the big radius... because I just want to order as well. What computer and air intake now? I am guessing the intake is a preference as well... but what about the computer, to piece it all together.

thx

Well, I'm partial to the Kuryakyn Hypercharger. I LOVE mine. I paired it up with the Cobra autotuner and had great results....just my .02

I am going to take a wild guess and say, that is the items in your signature?

I like the look of that as well!! I live 2.5 hours from the US (in Canada). Now to decide if I am going to order and install them in the us, or just do it through my shop?

thx man.

Not sure man....I installed all my stuff myself, and I'm not a mechanic. I'm sure you can just have the stuff shipped to you from wherever and then install yourself or any bike mechanic(a good one).

I ordered my pipe from Pacific Coast Star and my tuner and intake/adapter from phatperformanceparts.com. I did just recently see the Hypercharger adapter for a much cheaper price at jpcycle.com (about $75).

Here's the finished product:
(ignore girl on bike lol)

nice ride ;)

I can handle the install myself I suppose... but shipping anything to Canada from the US is quite expensive.... that is why I thought about driving there and then doing it... maybe I would forget to mention it to customs? :P

So many options, so little money. Do you think the cheaper adapter will work just as good/fine?
