I bundled mine with my homeowners thru Liberty Mutual, I got stated value coverage for 15k on my bike for $37.85 per month, with 100/100/100 coverage, cut my rates with better coverage from progressive in half when i made the change, I also insured my new Victory with stated value of 22k and same coverage amounts for $73 a month

State Farm. Just over $30 a month bundled with two other vehicles and house. Would be cheaper if Michigan wasn't a no-fault state.

Well, I had Geico for about 8 years and my last policy was about $260 a month for three bikes and 2 cars. Liability only on one of the cars, full coverage on everything else. No uninsured motorist on the cars, though I didn't even know I didn't have that until I switched.

I finally needed those rat bastards when my wife wrecked her car last year and they really bent me over the barrel. I was so mad I was almost ready to lawyer up.

End of the day, though, I just switched to State Farm though a local office that came highly recommended from a few friends. Now I pay $277 a month but at least I'm confident about their customer service. And now my wife drives a car thats all ****** up because instead of totalling it like they should have, Geico's recommended shop did a half ass job fixing it, and I had to pay over double my deductable to get it out of the shop. Good lord I hate those assholes.

So many variables(location, coverage limits and deductibles just to name a few) it makes this almost impossible to compare apples-to-apples.

My advice is use the on-line tools to compare companies and then sit down w/ your agent(or prospective new agent) and discuss things.

Make sure you have the same liability as your cars and that it adequately covers you in case you get sued. My wife was sued from a small fender bender($295 to fix the other car) and they went after us for 75K. Dismissed in court but after wasting a lot of time over almost 3 years.
Its great to get a car/bike fixed all nice and easy but in the end those are small potatoes compared to what you could be looking at if you are under-insured

For what its worth I have State Farm and need to review since I think its a little high. Then again for 30+ years SF has been there for me. I think I'll schedule one of those discount double checks just to be sure :)
