Why do we have to sacrifice fuel mileage for hp? I have yet to here anyone on here that didn't say they're gas milage suffered after they installed a programmer or/and aftermaket exhaust. I had both on my 636 and suffered no gas milage what so ever. And the power commander made it come alive. I am at the point that i'd like to get some pipes but I can't do it if its going to cut into my fuel economy. I have to stop and get gas often enough as it is.

Better performance means basically... more gas... because bikes metric bikes are made to CA emissions standards they come quite lean. the fuel controllers allow the injectors to squirt more fuel. chances are your fuel economy will go down.. not up.
