Ya, I kinda asked, then answered my own question. With weight on the bike the tire has to fit in the frame. It does but you cant fit a sheet of paper in the gap. A little to close for me. The frame is a "c" channel, the lower part of the "c" has to be ground off allowing the tire to safely fit inside.

Your luycky you can do your paint work that way.
So will the Dunlop fit with a lowering spring yes when installed by Sanderclause thats what makes it so trick , then when you ride with your HD buddys and your getting all the attention, you know you worked for it and fell even better.

The other thing too is that i'm 5'10, I could have my feet flat on the ground with the stock spring, then with the low and mean spring my knees were bent quit a bit, now with the 250 and the lower spring, it feels just like stock height again. which is fine for me. any higher and I wouldn't care for it.

Have you noticed any changes in handleing? I assume lowering and new Tire specs that this would change the Rake/Trail by a few degress/inches?? Would be interested in long term if front tire wear would be more significant due to the change!

I haven't even been able to ride it yet. I have to take the wheel back off and trim the frame. I'll post that info when I can get a few miles on it.
