I have the 21 inch Rifle windshield for the bloulevard and while it helps a lot, it would be great if it had a lip. The front rake looks awesome, but all the wind hits you right in the head if your a tall guy.

I'm 6'2 and still get buffeting at highway speed. I have been looking for an extenstion to help with the buffeting, but haven't had much luck.

Does anyone have the Yamaha Touring one and is it adjustable?

it's an old thread and there has been quite the discussion regarding the amount of air that comes up from under a shield / batwing - that updraft is what causes the majority of buffeting. If you have a shield / batwing --- while riding just place your hand parallel to the ground between your knee's and the tank - you'll notice a sudden lull to that buffeting - if it wouldn't look so **** silly, I'd put a pair of wing extensions on my tank to make the ride less turbulent - let alone be able to keep a hat on! lol

I don't have a batwing, but I did this and it's like riding in a bubble.
Where'd ya get those fork wings?

I've tried a set of fork wings that were supposed to work with the Memphis Shades Batwing... - They didn't work very well - they would hit the tank on any tight turn, & or couldn't fit them around the lollipops, so I never used them.

Need to find a set that I could possibly modify to fit around our lollipops, while still being effective.
