Just wanted to share what my winter project has been. There are a lot of great people on this forum so I figured I would give you all some more ideas. This is what I did.
- Polished the spokes on the wheels
- painted the headlight
- made a custom front fender
- Reshaped, welded, and drilled the stock rear fender
- installed an S&S intake
- polished all the stainless steel bolts
- 240 rear tire
- Lowered 2"
- run turn brake contoler
- headwinds tail lights
- fork wrap LEDS w/ drugz
- New seat
- Mini oval Ness mirrors
- Painted her SEM Hot Rod Black

Thanks all. On the rear fender I made metal plugs to fill the holes where the struts attached to smooth out the sides. On the wheels I sanded the raised portion of the spokes starting with a block and 120 grit enough to get to bare metal. Then used multiple grits of paper up to 2000 grit wet. That smoothed the surface. After that I used two different polishing compounds on a dremmel with a polishing wheel. That brought out the shine. Last I used Mothers polish to protect them. Totaled about 20 mins +/- per spoke, but I think the time was worth it because after market wheels run $1K and up.

It's a kustomwerks metal fender. They call it the 5.50 inch long boy. I had to cut some off both ends and reshape the sides they way I wanted. To mount it I had to order 4 aluminum spacers to go between the fender and the forks. I have $180.00 into the fender and spacers alone. Still less than Low and Mean and it's a custom "Metal" fender. Glad you like it. It took soom time laying out the shape I wanted.

Bro I think its very creative what you did with the wheels and I fully plan to copy the **** out of it ;D ;D ;D

Did you have to tape off around the flats?
No, you just have to be cautious. A small sanding block works best. If you don't use a block it will come out wavey and not mirror like.
